Question

When did your body go back to normal after miscarriage?

I miscarriaged on Feb 25th at almost 6 weeks. It's the 3rd now and my boobs still feel pregnant and I'm still peeing in the middle of the night. This is my first miscarriage so I don't know what to expect. I'm still bleeding sorry for the TMI. I had my blood checked three days ago and HCG was at 23 so I'm sure I don't have any HCG left. So how long can I expect my body to be like this? I just want my body to go back to normal. I'm depressed as it losing my pregnancy. Any advice or personal stories would be helpful.

It took me 6 weeks to get my period back after a recent D&C. It seemed to me like an eternity. After 4 weeks I was getting ready to "shoot my RE". He told me to wait at least 6 weeks. After that he might have given me meds to start a new cycle. I stopped bleeding 3 weeks after the procedure but had an enlarged abdomen for quite a long time. I looked pregnant and I did what I could to cover up so nobody would ask if we were expecting. It was a sad and difficult time. I wish you the best. Check with your dr if the bleeding after 6 weeks is normal, also the HCG should go back all the way to 0. Take good care of yourself.

I took me 4 weeks and 1 day to get my period back after my D&C on 1/20/15. It felt like forever and I even joked that it was worse than the TWW. My Doctor told me to call her if I hadn't gotten a period in ~6 weeks and, like Mozart said, she would put me something to start it. I stopped bleeding ~2 weeks after the procedure but I had also taken medicine before the D&C to try and remove everything without a D&C (lesson learned, just go for the D&C in the first place). My Doctor told me to wait two cycles before we started TTC again (just finished the first cycle and I'm finding it hard not to try again because I do feel ready, physically and emotionally, but I am listening to the Doc). I wish you all the best and I'm sorry for your loss.

I was 8 weeks pregnant with a blight ovum and had a DNC on Jan 15. I was devasteed and very depressed. Didn't think it would hit me that hard. I have had two healthy pregnancies before that and never miscarried just thought it could never happen to me. I got my period on Feb 13 (29 days later) I was sure I was pregnant bc my boobs hurt and I had cramping but it must have been from the hormones left over. I had a regular period 4-5 days then on cycle day 12 I had pink spotting then brown all very light just a few drops here and there and it's still on going! It's very frustrating. I don't temp or use ovulation tests (stresses me out) but now I'm on cycle day 19 and praying it worked! and still spotting light never red. We only tried one month and got pregnant for the previous DNC so hoping it works this month. Last month my hubby was out of town on the wkd I ovulated... It's hard and every time I see spotting it reminds me of my loss. I hope it goes away. I hope you get pregnant quickly

First let me say im sorry for your loss. I miscarried last October at 6 weeks. I miscarried naturally and bled for about 5 days. The pregnancy symptoms started leaving soon after my larger (quarter size) clots passed (sorry TMI) . My cycle started again exactly 28 days after the bleeding stopped.
