When women use Vitex, it isn't because they intend to use it as an aphrodisiac, but rather in hopes of regulating their cycle because they are not ovulating regularly.

Chaste tree (vitex) is a strengthening tonic for the pituitary gland. Daily use of the tincture of berries (1 ml 2-3x daily) is known to increase progesterone and LH. All good things when trying to regulate cycles and TTC.

Thanks ladies.. I was concerned that if it has an anti-aphrodisiac effect, it may reduce my cm (which could reduce the fertile environment for the sperm )..do you think that use of vitex has an effect on the amount of cm produced?
Thanks again

Vitex doesn't specifically change or improve CM, instead it regulates the whole cycle so that the body produces the type of mucus that is ideal for fertilization.
