My first cycle off bc I had so many feelings in my lower abdomen. Lots of pulling, twitching, pinching and cramping...the whole dang cycle! Lots of breast pain, bathroom breaks, nausea, sleeplessness, problems regulating temp... It was just my body adjusting to normal hormone fluctuations. Try not to read too much into the feelings you're having your first cycle off bc and just enjoy feeling your body taking charge. This is my third cycle off bc and my first actually ttc. Currently waiting for O which should be in the next few days. Even though I've been paying attention to what my body is telling me I can't feel any signs of ovulation... But good lord I do know a couple days after! My BBS are super sore between O and AF! Your body getting back to "normal" after bc is pretty confusing stuff!

I was on bc for 13 years... I got put on it only 6 months after my very first period because I was having excruciating cysts. Hubby and I got married in June and decided we are ready to try. I'm so scared of the cysts coming back but no signs of them yet *knock on wood* ! Since I got put on bc so young I never knew what real cycles were like. Tell you what.... Now I know why everyone complains about pms! For three days before AF I get so sick! Tried to eat a granola bar one morning and almost lost it because of the texture...A GRANOLA BAR!!!!! Lol I thought for sure I was pregnant. Next morning woke with a killer migraine and AF came later that day. In my case it's a learning process. I'm a toal nerd though so I'm loving all the natural feelings. Last cycle I started it just knowing it wasnt it. This cycle I have a very positive outlook yet not getting my hopes up. Started temping and using opks ... It's so awesome being able to see what my body is going through as well as feel it!
