Question

Do you ovulate 12-24 hours after your first positive? Or after your darkest opk positive?

according to my period app, which is usually spot on with my ovulation and ovulation pains, i was supposed to ovulate on cd 18 (tomorrow). but hubby and i bd on cd 15, and i started to feel ovulation pains that night, then the next felt them more intense, so i had hubby go buy me 3 opk's. the first i took on cd16 looked positive (same color as control) then two hours later test line was a little darker than control, then this morning, test line was obviously darker than control, but my pains are all gone today. could i have ovulated yesterday (cd16)? My ovulation pain is always consistent with my ovulation, but I've never taken opk's except for now. do i have a good chance of getting bfp this cycle?

You should ovulate 12-48 hours after your first positive

You can have mittelschmerz (ovulation pains) before, during and/or after ovulation, so not the best symptom to pinpoint when exactly ovulation.

Good luck!
