The cycle I got pregnant I used the sperm meets egg plan. You BD starting day 8, then every second day until you get a positive opk. You BD the day of pos OPK, the next day and the next day. skip one then one for good luck. If you google SMEP it will come up with lots of info :)

With my last pregnancy we bd twice, 1 day after the HCG trigger shot and the following day. According to dr's directions we should have bd the day of the trigger also but DH could not perform. No OPKs used, normally we bd every day around ovulation per dr request. Imo every other day is equally effective if your partner is around.

i was trying 2 use OPK's & i kept getting negatives then i had EWCM so i had sex anyway.. that day & the next day. never got a positive OPK tho. & i got pregnant! 10 weeks now.. good luck!

Honestly the only cycle I actually got pregnanct (ended in early miscarriage) we only BD'd once during my fertile period. We were visiting family and it was just impossible. All the other months (we haven't been using any sort of birth control for 3.5 years and never had another pregnancy test) we had been doing it much more often and frequently during my fertile period, and nothing.

While we were actively TTC, hubby and I used the SMEP method which requires you to BD every other day until +OPK, then the next three days, skip a day, and BD the next day. The success rates with SMEP are really high. We conceived twice and lost both. I then had 9 anovulatory cycles and had to use Progesterone to regulate my cycle again. That time, we only BDd the day of +OPK and the day after and we conceived. I'm 31 weeks today :)
