Ovulating during period? Can't find explanation..
I have done much research & honestly do not believe I can be, but I am fairly certain I have some sort of issue that causes my period blood to be shed late (For example - I spotted minimal bri ght red for four days before AF came early but now on CD2 I have deep red/black clots as well as fertile CM.) I have read that having fertile CM through the luteal phase can be a sign of low progesterone, but have been told by previous doctors that it is not my problem. I have suspected/diagnosed Endometriosis via ultrasound but have yet to get a lap done as I prefer naturopathic remedies & question diagnosis. I have been on/off BC for 10 years until I got married in Sep. 2014. We have been TTC since & actively charting but notice I ovulate early every month (around CD10/12) with OPK's. My last cycle length was only 27 days when it's usually 30. I'm now on CD2 & AF typically lasts 7-8 days but I have very obvious fertile CM. Could I ovulate during my period? We are both 25 years

Keep in mind that anything between 22 and 35 days is considered normal for a cycle length. I've had a cycle as short as 26 days and as long as 33. Also remember it can take up to 8 months for your cycles to regulate once you stop taking bc. Having a short cycle doesn't have to be a problem as long as your lp is at least 11 days. Maybe try a fertility supplement to see if your cycles even out. Make sure you track with opks and bbt. Ovulating during your period would be very unusual. Maybe you have elevated estrogen and it's causing excessive fertile cm?
