Question

First time but charting.

Not sure if I am charting bbt right. First time and my temps are up and down. I am also using clear blue advanced digital ovulation test.. I am not sure what I am supposed to be looking for with my temps. I have gotten 3 flashing smiley faces but not a peak on and my temp dropped today. Someone look at my chart and tell me if this is suppose to happen

Make sure you are taking your temp exactly at the same time, best right when you wake up since you havent done any activity to vary your temps. I started doing my vaginally and it seemed to help be more accurate. You're looking for your temp to rise then drop, that's ovulation. Then it will go back up again. And if pregnant it will stay up if you're period comes it will drop back down! Hope that helps a little.

Thank u. Yes I am taking my temp almost the same temp each day give or take 15min but. Before I get up and do anything. I have taken charting opk tests first one said no fertile and the next 3 said high but not peak. Now my temp dropped back down today. But by this site's says ovulation ain't until the 3rd and I am trying shettler method on having a girl due to already having 2 boys. Look at my chart if u would and tell me did I already inoculate possibly.

Hi there, I've been charting for two years and looking at your chart you haven't ovulated yet. You are looking for a sustained temp rise to confirm ovulation. This rise will be about 0.4 degrees F or 0.2 degrees C and should be higher than the previous six temps. Some women do see a temp drop or slight shift just before ovulation but this doesn't always happen. Once you see the higher temps for three days you can confirm ovulation. GL and I hope you get your little girl! Xx

Thank u hecRed . These charts are still alitlle confusing. I think with up and down is what thows me off. And now my temps seemed to even out makes me wonder. I have looked on ASK.COM to try to help understand. I see so much controversy and its frustration. With my 2 boys they weren't really planned. TAlked about it but not like this trying for a girl. I am taking opk test bbt charting and cm monitor. And then with my husband's age 21 years apart makes more pressure before be he can't have anymore.. any suggestions are so welcome. Thank u
