Question

Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances round ovulation???

Hi. I have been having sex every night just before bed and making sure I stay in bed afterwards. I got my first positive opk for this cycle this morning. Hubby has just popped back home from work to do the deed again and will have sex again tonight and again tomorrow but is there anything else I can do to help my chances this month? Also, if I got my positive this morning when do I take ovulation day is it today? Or tomorrow? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

There are several things you can do to boost your chances during ovulation. Taking mucinex or robitussin helps loosen the cervical mucus. Also, Pre-seed can help as well. Some women swear by soft cups after intercourse to help keep the sperm in. There are also fertility vitamins for men and women. I've heard some women say that eating the core of a pineapple or grapefruit juice aid in fertility during ovulation as well. There are some useful tools on this site. I was sick during my 6 day fertility window so we only had intercourse the day before and day of ovulation. I used musinex, prenatal vitamins and drank grapefruit juice. We were very fortunate to get pregnant this month. Good luck and plenty of baby dust :)

I would either skip today's bd or tonight's...dont do both tho. I would also assume O is tomorrow. Stick with the 24-36hr window after the first positive OPK, if ur not temping to confirm. Bd tomorrow morning if u skip tonight...I know u wanna get as many bd's in as possible, but the more frequently u do it, doesnt mean more sperm are getting up there. U have to give him 24hrs or more to regenerate a full sperm count.
