Confused can someone help ?

My last period was in the 2nd week of dec 14. Now this month I spotted for 31/2days started on Saturday and ended Wednesday ,when my period was supposed to start. Threw up on Christmas day 6 times . When should I take a test ? I took one Saturday night at 10pm and got a very faint positive within 2mins . Took one the next morning and it was negative. It's just been a week and a couple days since the last day I spotted. Could I be pregnant ? Should I take a test this week? I'm scheduled for a blood test and a ultrasound but not for a couple days .. Helpppp/:
