How to increase CM? and make it more fertile (egg white).

Hi Ladies,

My husband and I have been TTC 8 months now, with no luck. I am worried that it might be because the sperms are not able to reach the egg and my CM is not fertile enough. I have read that our CM during fertile days should be like egg white, very clear and stretchy. Please advise what should I be doing to increase the mucus? I appreciate any suggestions.

Try using pre seed. You can buy it at walgreens.

We have been using preseed for the last 3 months. Definitely helps make things smoother :) I am trying to drink more water to naturally increase CM too. Hope preseed helps us conceive soon...fingers crossed!!

You can also try canola oil. It's cheap and research shows it doesn't hinder sperm motility. To increase your own fertile cervical mucus, try taking a fish oil or flaxseed supplement for dha, evening primrose oil supplement and drink green tea. Also increase your water intake. That can be a hard one but get a water bottle that has measurements on it and try to drink around 3 16oz servings over the day.

Mucinex (Guaifenesin), evening primrose oil capsules, black currant oil capsules, borage seed capsules, enough water to drink, Pre seed, all can be helpful. GL!

I took evening primrose oil 1300mg (Solgar brand) & had the best EWCM this last cycle. We also used a little bit of Preseed to make sure things were nice and nourishing. If you use evening primrose oil, don't use after ovulation. Only use CD 1-O.
