Question

Low count morphology and motility

Recently we found out my husband has low count at 12million per ml, 40% motility and 4% morphology. What can we do to a)increase everything or b) increase chances of pregnancy?

Will be doing ICI this cycle, IUI is too expensive at current clinic and IVF is definitely out of the question. He has been on fertilpro but stopped about a month and a half before the analysis.

There isn't any miracle cure for male factor. However; it was suggested to me by an RE and I found one study (can't really call it a study because it was done on one man, but none the less) that stated guaifenesin is also good to help with semen/sperm issues if taken for 2 to 3 month (I believe that's what helped us when I got a BFP last year). He should probably go back on his vitamins and don't have intercourse every day, try every 2-3 days (sperm can live that long and it will give him time to replenish).

Good luck :)

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF

Has he seen a urologist to look at potential underlying causes? If not, I suggest he go see a urologist that specializes in male infertility. I agree with PP that he should go back on his vitamins, and make sure he is maintaining a healthy lifestyle - limit alcohol and if he smokes (nicotine or marijuana) he should quit as both of those can reduce sperm counts/quality. Good luck!

Fertilityblend for Men!!! We had a similar issue and our RE told my husband to take that and studies have shown it will increase in 4-6 weeks!
