Question

Help- Question about whats going on

My last period was Dec 17 and I usually have a 32-34 day cycle. Which would make today cd 34. I took a pregnancy test last weds jan 14 and it immediately came up positive. Then I did a clear blue weeks estimator (I know they aren't totally accurate) and it said 2-3 weeks. Yesterday I took one and it said 3 weeks. I am just a little concerned on why my hcg levels are high when I technically just missed my period. Could this mean there is something wrong? I hope I am just reading into this too much but I don't know! I have the normal symptoms really tender breasts and fatigue. Thanks

If you got 3+ yesterday and AF wasn't due until today I would get a blood test done just to be on the safe side. It could be nothing (you may be further along then you though) or, it could be something (molar pregnancy).

Good luck.

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF

Thanks for responding. My doctor didn't seem to be too concerned but I am a worry wart and I don't have my first official doc appt where I get an ultrasound until Feb 10.

:), It's absolutely normal to worry. I would also. Is there any walk-in clinics where you live that you could go just to get the blood test done (just to put your mind at ease)? Clearblue Digital will give 3+ with HCG levels of 2000 and up which is aprox 5week. Considering you are about 4.5, I'd say that's not too far off :) (if this can help you put your mind at ease).

There is a walk-in close by that I may try later today! You're right that I am approx 4.5 weeks so it's not too far off thanks for that :) that did make me feel better!

My last period was on Dec. 18th, 2014 and I have never had a normal cycle, they have ranged from anywhere to 30 to 37 days. The one in December was 37 days and I should be starting by the end of this week (Jan. 24, 2015) I am waiting to actually have a missed period before I test. I am excited and scared all at the same time, as I have PKU which is a genetic disorder in which your liver does not break down protein and for me to have a healthy baby my blood levels for phenylalanine (PHE) has to be low, like in the 2 to 6 and no higher or it can cause birth defects to the baby. But your post has giving me hope that baby dust will be in my near future. Thanks
