Can my temp. increase right before I expect my period?
I have been taking my temperature every morning for the past month and my temp. has consistenly been in the 97.1 to 97.4 range. The past two mornings it has be 98.1 and 98.2. I am expecting my period today or tomorrow so what's up with that?
I used ovulation stripes and I'm pretty sure that I didn't ovulate this month either. I've been checking since August..... seems like such a long wait. Maybe next month will be our time.

Whenever I hear ladies with rising temps when their period is due it's usually a good sign of pregnancy, their progesterone is increasing. Sometimes women have an LH surge that's not so high that the OPKs pick it up as a positive test. And sometimes the surge can be really short so you miss it. You could have ovulated, do your temps indicate you have? If you have a pregnancy test and biphasic pattern on your temps indicating ovulation it might be a good idea to test! Best wishes!
