I mean I'm inly 20. So I have plenty of time but me and boyfriend are really anxious me have had no luck.

I was on depo for 5 years. I ruined me. I developed PCOS and had painful ovarian cysts. My cycle was absent of very messed up for 7 years after. With all that being said, I have a beautiful 4 year old boy and am TTC another. It will happen, just give it some time. Sometimes it can take a few years to get out of your system, as it is fat soluble. It can be stored in fat cells around your body. As you burn fat. the hormone is released.

I had my last shot in January or February and had pains on my right sound in May found out I have a cyst on my right ovary but I did conceive in July and found out on August 8th I was 4 weeks but I found out on September 20 that I had a missed miscarriage and ended up loosing my first on October 4th. I am still ttc again. I should know what is going on this Tuesday as to what caused my 3 week spotting. I hope everything will work out for you and I will never get back on the depo again.

I forgot to mention I am 22 and was also on depo for 4-5 years. My doctor told me it doesn't matter how long you have been on depo. I am not trying to say that this will happen to you I just wanted to tell you my story of being on depo.

i was on depo for 4 years and told 8 months for my periods to come back and they were 40 to 35 days in length and slowly got shorter to 28 days, I have had 2 miscarriage this year, not sure if they have anything to do with depo but it definitely screwed up my system for a while! hope you get your BFP soon!
