Other than being late is it different from previous months ?

It can be normal if you get only bfn's it might be your body expelling it's uterine lining for some reason (trust me it can hurt and make your feel feverish). You have had 8 extra days of lining building up. I have had this and it is horrible but better out than in. It might even help with conception next time round (I got pregnant after this happened to me). You only need to worry about chemical pregnancy if you get a bfp. The doctor can give you something to slow down your bleeding if it doesn't stop before it starts annoying you .
