Question

How soon after thyroid cancer and/or thyroidectomy were you able to get pregnant? Need reassurance.

I had a complete thyroidectomy in Aug. I have been very hypothyroid since then due to mismanagement by my health care providers. Am now under the care of a great specialist, but am still crawling out of my hypothyroid state and still have thyroid cancer.
I have had horrible endometriosis pain since I was 10, have had fibroids, endometriomas and 3 laproscopies to remove scarring. It took us 13 months to conceive my daughter when I was 32.
We have been trying for #2 for a year, but obviously thyroid cancer/hypothyroidism has negated our efforts.
I'm hopeful that we will be able to conceive naturally once my TSH levels return to a healthy level, but am going to ask to be referred to a Reproductive Endocrinologist.
Has anyone here been in a similar situation and able to conceive again? What tips/advice do you have, other than getting back to a healthy TSH? Hoping someone can share their happy ending! Thanks!
