HCG and HPT?

Hi, I am about 6 weeks pregnant and my last beta HcG (less than a week ago) was over 9000. I took a hpt today and the line was faint! Just yesterday it was super dark. Could it fall that much in one day? What the heck? I've also had some cramps and a previous loss, so I'm worried.

Try mixing some water with ur urine. Google hook effect on hpts. Once hcg gets so high, tests can't handle it and theye start to get lighter.

Thank you burgbrandy, that worked! Diluted urine and it was dark again:) Phew!
