Am I still preggo?
So long story short I found out I was preggo about a week ago. Tests are still strong positives but I have been spotting for over 3 weeks. That's what triggered me to go to er last week. They labeled me a threatened miscarriage but that is due to they think I'm 7 weeks now. 6 weeks at the time. I really think I conceived around Halloween. Making me more like 3-4 weeks. They couldn't see anything on ultrasound and hcg went from 559 to 350 in two days. Tested again thursday and positive digital and + sign clear blue test. I'm still spotting. No real heavy bleeding. Nausea soar boobs and stomach is hard. Hubby actual could feel it. Going in for more blood work. Just scared to get my hopes up. Hubby and I have tried 6+ years

In my mind, what is of concern is that the HCG dropped. It is supposed to double approximately every 48 hours in early pregnancy. I had 6 miscarriages in the past 10 years and with each one declining HCG was the first sign that things were not going well. Because of my own experiences I can't give you too much hope. I am very sorry that this is happening to you. The next blood tests will tell you more. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

My pregnancy symptoms usually decreased over time until it was discovered that my HCG was dropping. With some of my m/c I initially experienced no bleeding; one failing pregnancy went all the way to 11 weeks with no bleeding before the falling HCG was discovered. The ultrasound then showed just a fetal pole. I would hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I wish I could tell you something more uplifting. All the best.

I wish you all the best. I started spotting at 6 weeks, all well on ultrasound, measurements and heartbeat good, but spotting continued. I never got the heavy bleeding you often read about, a follow up u/s at 8 weeks showed showed baby died just after initial scan and spotting was result of falling HCG, I tried for a further 3 weeks to miscarry naturally but just continued to spot so ended up having a D&C. My hpt's were very positive right up until 2 days after D&C. A drop in HCG is worrying. Good luck xx

I'm so sorry you are going through this. After 4 MC myself, I can understand how maddening the whole experience can be. With that being said, for the ER to say your HCG dropped isn't the end-all. HCG sensitivity levels vary from lab to lab. You need to have your HCG drawn 48hrs apart from the same lab before you can say with confidence that it dropped. A dropping HCG is a very ominous sign that in my experience, never had a good outcome. But before that can be determined, be sure your HCG was drawn from the same lab. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Fingers crossed and praying for a happy ending for you.

So sorry, fingers crossed for next month for you. It does happen, I got pregnant immediately following miscarriage twice, the first miscarriage happened at 5 weeks and I immediately fell pregnant again with twins who arrived happy and healthy but a bit early 7 months later, then last year I had a D&C for miscarriage as I said earlier, next month I was pregnant again and happy healthy baby boy arrived 8 months later.

The crazy thing is I don't know when I miscarried. Everyone knows a date but I don't. I know I went into the DR. on 11/20 and my levels were 559. That put me at 6 weeks almost. So Im thinking I lost it then since I had bleeding from the day I was supposed to start my period on 11/3. Not sure when I should start trying. We did bd this last weekend so Im hoping I fall preggo again soon. I am feeling tired and bleeding is almost all done. Just spotting. Sorry tmi. I also have heart burn again. Can you ovulate with hcg still in your system or will it happen when it is zero?
