are the tests wrong??

I have had symptoms such as back ache, spotting, a few cramps, tiredness, over 2 weeks late and feel different in myself however i did 4 cheap tests and they were negative, i put them in the bin straight away and didn't go back to them. The tests said I'm not, but I feel like I am, is that normal? Should I invest in another test?
