Question

I need advice I'm feeling lost and confused.

I have three little ones already. I'd like another (girl preferably) as I have boy, girl, boy so a girl would be cute. I fell pregnant first go with each of them but now I'm three cycles in and no bfp! I have no stress so that can't be it, I have full time help so I don't feel burdened. I had c-sections to deliver my babies ,please no judgement it was a personal choice for me. Do you think that could cause my infertility now? Victoria beckham had all c-sections so I just don't know. Any advice? I've been intimate every second day the whole three cycles. Oh I'm so confused, please help me?

Personally, I don't believe your c- sections are connected to your 3 unsuccessful cycles. And it is premature to use the word "infertility" in your situation. You conceived 3 children naturally on the first try. This points to high fertility in general. However, I believe your expectations are too high. Even though you conceived immediately with your first 3 children, this not the norm. You have only a 20-25% chance for conceiving every cycle and this is the case even for young couples without fertility problems. On top of it fertility declines with advancing age. TTC in the 30s is for many more challenging compared to in their 20s. It possibly might take a little bit longer to conceive this time. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

I know this will come across as rude, but after seeing variations of this question a billion times on this site I don't care. It is not kind to refer to three months of trying as "infertility." Those of us who have gone through it or are going through it, or who know people who haven't gotten pregnant even once in 7 years of trying might be a bit unimpressed with your "struggle."

Well that wasn't nice luvtowalkfast! Obviously it's not normal for me to not succeed first go so I do feel infertile. I didn't say I was now barren as I think that would be taking it too far. I'm impatient I guess but I'm not used to having to wait and I thought it was big of me to admit it. There's no need to be jealous and the I don't care bit was mean. You're off my Christmas list!

Thank you, Phillips I'll try to calm down. This will be my fourth month so I'm expecting to fall into the 25% this time.

Wow. First of all, I do not think she was acting jealous, and as someone who IS indeed classified as infertile, it annoys me when someone tried to classify themselves. Second of all, it doesn't matter if you "feel infertile," you aren't classified as infertile by a doctor til you have been trying for a whole 12 long, painful, agonizing months. Youre blessed, period. Theres no other rhyme or reason to this.
Anyway, Have you googled c sections and having trouble conceiving? Because they do not seem to relate, in my unprofessional opinion. You can always get a second opinion from a different doctor. And like Philips said, if you're in your 30s, your fertility usually decreases quite a bit, especially after 35. Prayers.

Again, you may or may not fall into the 25% bracket for success the next cycle(s). I would not expect anything to begin with. That way you will be pleasantly surprised when indeed it happens. I would like to add that falling pregnant is a blessing from above. Being thankful for those blessings instead of purely expecting them is an integral part of acknowledging that there is a creator involved, our God. Best wishes.

I'm nearly 27 so I'm not thinking it's age related. Thanks Phillips I'll start praying. Maybe if god is there he'll also grant me a girl. I've insisted my husband book a retreat this month somewhere warm so we can work on our bfp in bliss. I've also just booked a fertility massage/accupuncturist. I can't believe I've had to resort to this, I don't know how you ladies do it. Thanks for your time.

You'll resort to almost anything after so long. It doesn't get easier, to me, it doesn't feel like real life. Like THIS is actually happening to ME? Not in a million years did I dream. Hope your plans work out for you. God is always there. Just give Him time and patience.

Surely God is there and as long as you are asking with open and empty hands and trust Him for giving you what He has in mind for you He will delight in you. Enjoy your acupuncture and massage treatments, and above all things your vacation!

Thank you ladies. I seem to have annoyed a few people which is not what I intended to do.

I have had 4 sections tho not thru choice, sections have no baring on wether you can concieve, I concieved all my first 4 first go my 4th being a mc then my 5th pregnancy took 3 months due to cycles being messed up.
this time I havent had success on my first try an ye I feel gutted and depressed but I know its nothing compared to what others go through, an I only feel this way cos like u personally I have never not got pregnant first time .
My heart goes out to everyone with fertility problems, but people shouldn't snap at eachother we will all need support sometime in our lives I'm sure.
I wish everyone here the best of luck x
