Some women never get EWCM, although they may get watery CM which is also fertile. Clomid is known for "drying women out," so you may get much less CM in general on Clomid. You can use a fertility lubricant like Preseed to mimic EWCM if you want. GL!

I vary rarely get EWCM but get a lot of watery CM. This is my second cycle of TTC and I used Preseed this cycle and it was great. Exactly mimics EWCM. Waiting to test until next Tuesday. Good luck to you!

I've actually had a lot of creamy white cm this month, but no ewcm. Is that still fertile? Sometimes dh and I will use Conceive Easy (sperm friendly lube). Anyone have bfp while using that?

As luvtowalkfast explained fertility meds can change your CM around ov. I have been on Femara for the last 16+ months and despite the claims it won't interfere with the production of fertile CM it does exactly that for me. I have tried "Fertile CM" by Fairhaven Health to increase CM in quantity and quality but without success. Pre seed, a sperm friendly lubricant is a solution for some but DH had complaints. Only after starting evening primrose oil 3000 mg taken daily from CD1 to ov. my CM improved. A fact is that the body's production of fertile EWCM is linked to increasing estrogen levels around ov. For that reason there is less fertile CM around with advancing age which is the case for me. EWCM can differ from cycle to cycle. CM before ov. can be described as semi-fertile. It is possible to become pregnant with this kind of CM. Personally, I feel much better about things when I see true EWCM produced naturally around ovulation. Best wishes and the Lord's blessing

That's how I feel, I had thought that taking this would make my ewcm last a longer during with clomid. But I've yet to see any:/ I'm just feeling super down and was hoping someone could life my spirits

No need to feel down, as long as you ovulate you have plenty chance at pregnancy, we're just telling you that Clomid "drying up" the CM is common and there are products you can use to help :)
