Pain from my neck into my ribs, chest hurts, shortness of breatheâ?¦ 22 weeks pregnant!
Yesterday I started getting this pain in my chest and right side of my neck, barely slept last night and now it is somuch worse! It hurts to breathe and to move suddenly, but mainly on my right side. Have any of you experienced anything like this? Called my Dr and he said I must take panado... i really dont feel very good at all and am starting to worry now!

Please go to the doctor. Don't want to freak you out I just want you to get checked out. Pregnancy can increase the chance of blood clots so it needs to be excluded, definitely if you have shoulder tip pain as well. I had a similar pain with my last pregnancy at 25 weeks. I'm sure it will let go but please don't wait you're doctor needs a paddy whack. :)

All I can offer is my RE put me on 200mg of progesterone daily and the first side effect I had was heart palpitations and shortness of breath, all day for a number of days. They have decreased but I still feel some effects here and there. I also have had strange rib pain but I dont know where the rib pain is coming from. I am still in the trying to conceive part I have had sleeping problems too which are also progesterone related.
. . . heart palps and shortness of breath never feel good then add no sleep, bad combo. . . I would still get it checked out.
Your progesterone levels do rise rapidly in first trimester . .
