Period after a Miscarriage?
I'm trying to work out when I should expect my first after miscarriage period?
I was 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant when (had a dating ultrasound 5 hours before losing the baby, which looked fine on the scan) I miscarried naturally exactly 5 weeks ago, confirmed that everything was out via ultrasound and had a blood test 4 days after the miscarriage showing my HCG was down to 280ml/iui. Bleeding stopped after 6 days.
3 weeks after the miscarriage I tested negative on a pregnancy test (only ever got one blood draw) and showed signs of ovulating, but in the last 2 weeks the symptoms have fluctuated and not really been as strong as usual. My cycle is usually 5 weeks long so I expected my period either today or tomorrow but no sign of it.
I did another test yesterday at what I thought might be 13dpo but negative (we've been TTC again as of a week after the miscarriage). Not sure what to make of it.

I'm wondering the same thing! I had a MC at 4 weeks and 3 days. My doctor told me to start trying right away since I'll be very fertile. My husband and I started right away. I know I ovulated because of my cm. now I'm having mild dull cramps. I'm 8dpo. Hoping we are pregnant. Hope you are too!! Give it time! GL

7 weeks ago I mc at ten weeks along. The baby actually died at six weeks and the placenta grew to seven weeks, so it was a missed mc. It took 40 days for my cycle to return. We were ttc in that time when I noticed ovulation (I was temping and felt the O pain). Exactly 14 days later AF arrived just on time, we are now ttc again. It's wierd how I can now feel my ovaries working with a clear pain, when before it was maybe just a twinge if that. Any updates since your original post?
