Has anyone had bleeding bad for 4 weeks after there first period after a D&C?

I had mc end of november had d&c 2nd december 2011 I bled heavy on and off till January 11th stopped for 2 weeks had a period then had mad cycles ranging from 15 dsys to 54 days they went back to 28day cycle in the march 2012.

I went to ed and they gave me a drug to stop the bleeding which it has done. I'll be going to start vitex to shorten my cycle so I can get my rainbow baby.
