The average is 2-3 days, but I've saw women end up pregnant when they had only dtd 6 days before ovulation. Definitely more than a few hours. It does take the sperm 6-12 hours to even reach the egg, which is why u should bd on days laying up to o too.

Alot of websites will say 2 to 5 days max 6 however alot of medical websites such as nhs uk say 7 days, I personally know 7 is true as this is what happened to me a previous pregnancy.

Me too cos we bd on 27thoct late at night into early hours 28th oct but I didnt ovulate till 2nd or 3rd of october :) its worked for me before so who knows :) x
