Question

is taking estrogen pills a good idea ?

hey ladies so I have pcos and I'm just wondering if taking estrogen pills a good idea ? has anyone taken them before , have they worked , any sode effects ? thank you

I would not take anything like that unless you were advised by an RE to do so, because screwing with your hormones can backfire tremendously. If you have not gone to an RE for advice I would recommend it. GL!

Recently my midwife wanted me to start taking progesterone shots to try & make my pregnancy last closer to 40 weeks. I talked to a nurse and got some side effects from her like more headaches/migraines if you already have them, more seizures if you already have them & if you have high blood pressure it can raise that. A friend who took the shots said blot clots are a major factor. I decided not to take them because of the blood clots issue. Pills may have the same effect. I'm looking into some natural stuff. I know that health food stores carry natural progesterone creams that are safer to use if you're not pregnant. GL!
