Question

Low rising hcg levels and not doubling every 48 hours

The hcg only went from 60.2 to 84 but she said to stay positive and to rest over the weekend that it could just be that it's an extremely early pregnancy. Has anyone ever been through this and went on to have a healthy pregnancy? Any insight would be great please!

Thanks

Me! My 2nd child I spotted like once and freaked so went to the dr. They did an ultrasound and couldn't see a heartbeat but said they would check my levels over two days for a rise. We had no clue how far along I was bc I didn't track period back then. Anyways, my levels did not double like they should have over two days. The dr came in to tell me and said she was 95% sure I was miscarrying, but she gave me the option of having an ultrasound or scheduling a d&c. I chose the ultrasound bc I didn't want to have any regrets. Low and behold the baby had a heartbeat!!! Pregnancy went ok until about my 7th month. She stopped growing so I was put on bed rest and she was eventually born a month early. She was healthy as can be though and is now 8 years old! :-)

Great story @ lovenfaith. Miracles do happen and your story shows that many things in life are not clear-cut - and cannot be fully understood by us. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
