Is it possible to get a false negative on a blood test?
I had what I thought was a faint BFP Yesterday with FMU, even my husband saw it within the time limit. AF was due Saturday and is still a no show. Friday I had light pink spotting once when I wiped, Saturday I had light pink/brown mucus discharge 2-3 times when I wiped, & yesterday I had light pink spotting once when I wiped. That NEVER happens, not between cycles or before AF. Today I had a blood test & it was negative. Idk if they did qualitive or quantitive. If I O'd late and this was implantation bleeding would it be possible for a blood test to not detect it yet?

If its negative and ur hpt is positive then they probably did qualitative. Have u tested since? A blood test should read positive before a urine test, the hCG in urine is from filtering blood so it would have to be positive first. Theres also a possibility that u had a chemical pregnancy (very early miscarriage) and ur test was positive but being such a light positive could mean a low hormone level and possibly gone by todays blood test. The spotting would support that as well. Idk dudette, there are quite a few scenarios, but u definitely will not have a positive urine without having that hormone in ur blood first. Try another test in the am. Try smu, hold it for a cpl hrs and drink little to no fluids during the hold. If its positive then the doctor prob did a qualitative...u could call and ask as well.
