Question

First ultrasound fears

I have my first doctor's appt on the 4th and I'm feeling kind of nervous that something might go wrong. I'm almost 8wks and I still haven't had any symptoms or morning sickness besides cramps when I first found out, fatigue, and my body getting extremely hot. I'm scared that the ultrasound won't show a heartbeat or something. I feel like I might have jinxed my baby or myself because I've had to tell people at work that I'm pregnant. Has anyone felt like this?

I had the same fear! I had a history of miscarriages so I was just SURE there was something wrong with the baby and prepared myself for the worst. I still don't feel that pregnant. My hips and legs get very sore, and my breasts are tender, but I never got any of the really "popular" symptoms, so it worried me.
Some women get lucky and don't really feel sick, an I would say that your case, too.
Just hang in there and try not to stress (I know that's easier said than done), and trust that you are doing enough to provide a healthy environment for baby.
And good luck! That first ultrasound is the sweetest moment!

Aw thanks love :) I'm trying not to stress myself out, but I don't feel that pregnant either. Even though this is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what being pregnant feels like lol.

That's one thing that made me so fearful. You always hear what you're SUPPOSED to feel, but no one ever mentions that it's ok to have few symptoms, too! Every women is different. Some get all of the symptoms right on time. Some get out-of-the-ordinary symptoms, and some get very few! All of them are normal!
