Question

Repeat Episodes of Excessive Bleeding?

**I have an appointment with my OB/GYN but I want other people's stories**

I have PCOS and in the past 3 months I've experienced one normal period (7 days) and two episodes of excessive bleeding.

The first time I bled for 4 weeks and it stopped before I could get to my OB/GYN (new patient appointment so it took over a month to be seen). I had severe ovary pain with this cycle but it went away when the bleeding stopped.

This time, I lost a couple pounds and I had a normal 7 day period. Then all of a sudden a week and a half after that I started bleeding again. It's been almost 6 weeks and I'm STILL bleeding and passing clots (ranging from small to very large). I've had no ovary pain or discomfort.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? What was done to correct it?

I'm concerned about it affecting my already crappy fertility :/

Thank you in advance!

Have you ever tried Vitex to try and make your cycle regular? You have to take it for at least 3 months. Your body must have built up its lining with extra blood and now your body is trying to get rid of it. I think it is terrible you have to wait so long to see a doctor. I had extra bleeding once and went to a gp doctor after only 1 week. I had a baby after that episode too.
