Question

Digestive changes, can be a sign of pregnancy?

Ok, so here goes. I have IBS-d(sorry if its tmi) anyway, I have a regular cycle of 30 days. estimated ovulation day would have been the 13th or the 14th. I do not chart or do OPK's. Just going by CM and a calendar since I am regular. So anyway I had intercourse on the 12th and the 13th. Since then my IBS-d has disappeared which has never happened to me before except when I was pregnant with my 1st and 2nd child. my bowels are behaving normal. Honestly if I did not have IBS-d I would probably be constipated right now. I have been eating aggressively since 2dpo had a headache 3 times since 3 dpo. I seem a little fatigued but not overly I took a test 5dpo and today 7dpo. both were negative. my question is could the change in my digestive tract in fact signal a conception.

It's a hard call to make however, it's a promising sign. Pregnancy hormones seem to effect the GI system first and foremost and most often so it's reasonable to assume that it very well could be the reason you're having a change in your current bowel status,, especially if that's been the case for you in previous pregnancies. Good luck with getting your BFP!
