Question

OPK are they accurate?

Hi

I am just wondering exactly how to read the OPK's.

If I use them and it shows a negative and the following day it is a positive does that mean I will ovulate within the next 24-48 days? Or do you have to wait till the line is strong and bold or is any positive accurate no matter the colour of the line?

So confused now.

As long as the line is as dark or darker than the control line, its a positive and ur body will attempt to ovulate within 12-48hrs. It can happen before or after the avg time frame, or not at all...it can also happen with never having a positive, so try to get a cpl bd's in per week in case this happens to u.
Good luck! =))

I agree. The month I conceived baby #2 I never got a positive. Make sure you're having regular sex (2-3 x a week) regardless of what the test says! Gl!

Which Opk's are you using?? I have used the cheapie internet ones and they seem to leave you guessing most of the time! I use the clear blue digital advanced, they are a bit more money but you gey a flashing smiley face a few days before you ovulate and the a solid smiley at your peak! I find they are easy to use! Yes, usually you will ovulate 12-48 hours after a positive.
