I've been experiencing this since yesterday. I'm either 5 or 6 dpo today (a slow rise in bbt makes it a little tricky to pinpoint). I spent the better part of my evening into the late night hours researching it and drew no definitive conclusions other than not all medical advice claims that it's impossible to implant prior to 6 dpo. It turns out that the vast majority of things I read that we're written by dr's open that window of implantation time pretty wide, usually beginning with 3 dpo. I'm not planning on testing any earlier than I'd originally planned for, personally, but it is interesting how much of what you'll read in forums such as this will fight tooth and nail to dispute the possibility of implanting prior to 6 dpo, but 4 and even 3 dpo were very casually presented as the beginning of the implantation window in things I was reading.

Sorry, but you cannot implant before 6 dpo. Human reproduction isn't magic, it follows a very predictable, scientific process. If you go onto reputable medical websites, this is all explained to you. Now, you can tell yourself that you're having pregnancy symptoms at 3 dpo but you're not. But even if you were having implantation at 4 dpo, it wouldn't be occurring in the ovary.

At 4 DPO, the fertilised egg is called a morula and it cannot implant, it's not fully formed yet. The cells are still dividing, at 5 DPO it's now a blastocyst and that's when it reaches the uterus and starts to look for a comfy spot.

It is very rare that the blast will find a comfy spot and implant at 5DPO, they like to look around before settling. When I was pregnant earlier this year (MC), I did feel that sharp pain, but it was at 6DPO.

If u want more info on what the two previous ladies are explaining, look up pics from IVF sites, they show a day by day progression through cell division. U can also look on the NIH site for info on mitosis (which is the process of cell division) or embryology (process from fertilization through to the fetal stage). U wont find 3, 4 or 5dpo implantation casually thrown around on there.

How lucky that we all have medical experts who can also debunk truths about my own body right here at our convenience.

Disagree if your research leads you to oppose certain opinions, but it's quite rude, ridiculous, and arrogant to declare something as "impossible" based on the fact that what you accept as truth isn't actually universally accepted as true.

Oh Im sorry, when did this become about u? The answers posted were to help the OP, u sound very upset that no one believes ur evening google research. Instead of pouting and name calling like a child, how about providing some links for the poster to make her own judgments from. That was the whole point to answering her question, wasnt it? *smh* ugh, chicks.
