Spotting after hot shower....
Im 6.5 weeks pregnant and I've noticed I only spot after I take a hot shower. If its just for 2 mins nothing really happens, but if I'm taking a shower for 15+ mins I've been noticing spotting after. It started 6 days ago, with several days in between with no spotting - hasn't been consistent.
Ive told my OB I was spotting back when it first started but I never mentioned anything about it possibly being from hot showers because I didn't notice the correlation then.
OB didnt seem worried when I started spotting because he said its common in early pregnancy and they have been monitoring me. I am also on 200mg of Prometrium (progesterone) a day and it may be because of that.
In my last pregnancy my OB told me to just stay away from hot baths and jacuzzis and that hot showers are ok because your whole body is not submerged. That's why I feel stupid even mentioning it to him but I've notice the correlation this entire week.
Anyone have an experience with this?!?!

I had spotting during my pregnancy for no reason I could pick and was told it was normal, when on to have a perfectly fine baby. I only have luke warm showers anyway. I think maybe you should stop having such hot showers just incase you are raising your bodies core temperature to much and upsetting your pregnancy.
