Your hCG doubles about every two days. If you're wanting a definite, clear BFP, it should be darker every two days. It's best to take a test with FMU, but a four hour hold is almost as good. If your lines are getting stronger and you haven't gotten AF, I wouldn't worry too much about a CP (I know, easier said than done). Good luck!

I'd wait until 11 dpo if you're trying to track progression, but the best way to check on rising levels is to request betas from your dr as there are a lot of variables that go into the line on a test and it may cause undue panic.

I opk another after a five hour hold but did drink more than earlier and line appears the same so am really worrying now .. However my boobs hurt so much and nipples are big and sore! Plus I'm only just 9 dpo however it's so hard not to worry and panic the lines won't get darker! Thanks all

You're not going to see a drastic change from 8 to 9 dpo, plus you have to take into consideration all the variables that make the conditions of each test different. Try to relax and stop testing for a couple days.
