What do you notice around O time?
I'm on my first cycle temping and using opk's, second cycle tracking with a fertility app. Since it's after midnight, I'm technically now on cd 17. I kinda think my test line on my opk is gradually darkening, but the change is slight. No sign, yet , based on temps. Today, I've been very nauseous and uncomfortable with cramps, lower back ache, and pain in my hips. CM is looking more fertile than it has all week, but out of nowhere, I've got brown blood with it. What the heck? Since I haven't had an lh surge or temp change, I don't think it's ovulation spotting. Any clue as to what it is? Anybody else go this late into a cycle with no O?

You sound like me. OPK's never worked for me, the strip always appeared to be getting slightly darker but never showed that I ovulated, even though I took them 3 times a day. I bought a ton of them, enough for 3 months. Some women only have the LH surge for less than 10 hours and would be easy to miss it. Long story short I have a 5 year old and an almost 2 year old. Neither time did the OPKs pick up an LH surge, but both times I ended up with the brown blood in my CM. You could have ovulated, and as far as the temps go, with my oldest daughter it took 3 days for the temps to rise after ov.

Thanks for your answer. I got a +OPK a few months ago when I was ttc. I wasn't temping and have no idea where I was in my cycle as I hadn't been keeping track and it was our first cycle ttc. I did get pg, but unfortunately list that baby. I guess I'm just getting a little anxious about being on cd 17 with no surge :-/. My cramps were pretty wicked yesterday, but could've been tied to endometriosis. Plus, a combo of the m/c, plus my doctor bringing up my age (turned 34 yesterday) umpteen times just has me more concerned than maybe I'd be, otherwise.
