I used to take naproxen, morphine tramadol and paracetamol, it affected my cycles alot. I now just take paracetamol which has made a huge difference. I also take antidepressants as does my husband which have never affected things. We've been trying for 26 months. If after a year still no luck go see your Dr. Good luck to you.

It really depends on which medicines are on and your pharmacist or doctor should be able to review those with you. But of time you have been trying to conceive is well within normal. It's not always and easy as you think it should be. Best of luck!

This question is impossible to answer even without the wild card of medications, because you may have fertility issues that would decrease your odds per month. Typically you have about a 20% chance each month but that is not cumulative (i.e. your odds are not 100% in 5 months). It's a roll of the dice each month, basically, and that's if you're both perfectly healthy. Turned out my DH had sperm count issues that reduced our odds per month to about 2% for conceiving naturally, but we conceived via IUI after 21 months. So every couple is different, and you haven't been trying long. Be patient, grasshopper :) GL!
