Question

OPK question...

Hey ladies,
Ok so I just got diagnosed with PCOS :( first time using opks. I just started metformin 3 days ago and I started getting lots of cm... so I decided to test today and there is a second line. I know it needs to be as dark as the control line but is it a good sign to see one at all? I mean I don't think I have ovulated in a year.... is the metformin working? could I be close to the big O? I cant wait to test tomorrow to see if it gets darker. but I am just looking for opinions on if its a good sign to see a line at all?

U always have LH in ur system at varying degrees throughout ur cycle, so having a faint line or even no line, is completely normal. Some women will have the LH line darken slightly as they approach ovulation, and others can have faint lines barely visible up until the actual surge. Its one of those things thats different for everyone and also different per cycle. Ive had a few cycles where I build up a line as O approachs, but usually I just have light lines then a darker than the control line line. Ive gone from next to nothing to a full on dark surge line in two hours.
Are u temping to confirm if u are or arent ovulating? Once u get a positive opk, it wont confirm O for u (nor will a lack of a positive mean u didnt O), so bbt would be something to consider if u arent already.
