Question

Please Help! Ovulation and opk question

I have always gotten a positive opk pretty early on in my cycle, early meaning cd 13 to 15... Usually they are stark white until a day before a positive when I get a fainter line. After ovulation , they usually go stark white again. This cycle, I have been using opks since cd11 and have gone through 3 boxes. I started having faint lines that got darker, but I finally got a dark positive yesterday morning on cd 18. Took another test last night and this morning, and still a pretty good line, just not positive... My body has never done this before. Are my hormones messed up! I dont even think ive ovulated this month. Last month was a pretty short cycle at 27 days, but im thinking im in for a long one this time! Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

I had that and apparently it's cos stress can interrupt ovulation.

You'll have a slightly longer cycle this time around, but it's normal to have occasional odd cycles or cycles where you don't o at all. Also, it is possible to for opk to not even pick up o. The month I conceived baby #2, I never even got a positive! As long as you're having sex about 3 x a week the entire month (not just when the opk says so) you'll eventually catch the egg.
