Question

Mother nature is a sadistic b*tch!!!!

Hey everyone. I'm so frustrated. I've been ttc for a year now and still no baby!!! And every month I get hopeful because pregnancy symptoms and pms symptoms are so similar!!! I'm tired of being disappointed!! Like right now my Period is due in 3 days so I'm experiencing tiredness, sore boobs, peeing a lot etc. I'm just tired of getting my hopes up only for my period to rear her ugly head. Im sorry, I didn't really have a,question I just needed to vent because I'm so tired of this!!!!

I fully agree with you. We have been TTC since May last year and nothing but PMS symptoms that make me feel pregnant and then in the end I am not. I am not even a symptom spotter..... far away from it. But I clearly feel pregnant every month without a pregnancy in sight. This is indeed very frustrating and uninspiring. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

I am also losing my mind. It's been 15 month and not even a hint of a baby. I am so angry at the world!

For a normal healthy couple, it can take up to a year or more to conceive. Just because it is taking longer doesn't mean that it will never happen. I'm not going to say be patient, but don't lose hope!

Everyone always says a healthy couple can take up to a year or more to concieve, however, my RE (fertility specialist) told me that after 1 year, the chances of conceiving without medical help goes down drastically.

We have been trying with medical help for over a year now and it has not worked out yet. Even with medical help one often has to tweak the regimen or protocol to become successful.

My RE is one of the top 10 in America right now. I had a long talk with him yesterday on this exact topic since this is year 4 of my TTC journey. To clarify my previous comment, it can take a healthy couple up to a year or maybe more depending on whether or not timing is right and there are no issues with ovulation or sperm motility. However, if the patient feels that there is a problem and they wish to seek medical help with conceiving then the best thing to do is see a doctor and make a plan as to how they are going to go about trying to conceive. It's not mandatory. My husband and I have been trying with medical guidance for 2 years now and nothing has happened yet even with ovulatory drugs, fertility meds, timed intercourse, injections...Nothing has worked thus far and everything for us checks out. Sometimes it just takes longer. Good luck dear.

Thanks ladies! I have children already so unless something has changed with me I shouldn't have any fertility problems, so that's why I can't understand the length of time this is taking. It's just very frustrating. I just wish we wouldn't feel any symptoms instead of feeling like every pregnancy symptoms imaginable only to realize it's your period. Just tired of disappointment every month
