my age 40 i took duphaston for 7 days each day 2 tablet but my period delayed. duphaston delayed

my age 40 i want get pergenant my left ovary only ok .my do ctor ask me to take duphaston for 7 days each day two tablet & ask me to go back to him when i see my period the first or second day but my period delayed my last period was 11 august 2014 what happen to me

I took something similar but didn't get my period for 14 more days. So you might have to wait until the duphaston works. If you don't get a period in the next two weeks go back to your Doctor and tell him/her.
