Early Pregnancy Signs?
I am 8 days past ovulation. I had what felt like menstrual type cramping which has now turned to a localized cramp around my left hip area, as well as occasional back pain which is pretty consistent for the last few days. I went to the doctor for the pain and they did an ultra sound (looking for cysts) which showed nothing as well as a pregnancy test (both urine and blood test) both which came back negative. The doctor said I show no signs of any type of illness as well. Is there is a chance that the cramping I am feeling is due to pregnancy? Is it possible to experience this so early?? If it is not due to pregnancy then I am very curious as to what is causing this pain?! (This would be my third pregnancy).

The pain you feel could be implantation cramps which usually happens 7-10 days after ovulation. If that is the case, you will not produce HCG until after implantation happens so the test will not show up positive right now. I would give it another couple days and take another home pregnancy test. If you miss your period then I would go back to the doctor and have them check again.

I had cramping that felt like AF and serious bloating that started at 8DPO. I didn't get my BFP until 11DPO, which confirms FitbyJordan's assumption that it may have been implantation cramping that you're feeling. I would wat a few days and test. If it is, indeed, implantation cramping, you will be producing hCG in high enough amounts that it will be read on a test in about 3 days!
