Question

New to temping and opk's. Advice?

I'm currently on cycle day 6 of our second month ttc. I've started temping today and have ordered some Wondfo's (opk's and pg test combo box). I did use an opk to track ovulation with my last pregnancy, which ended in miscarriage. With my two successful pregnancies, I basically just bd'd around ewcm. I conceived on the first cycle with all previous pregnancies. I suspect I may have had a chemical pregnancy as I had strong pg symptoms during my tww, then began bleeding a few days prior to expected af, which became very heavy. I'm still bleeding from that. I used Ovia fertility app last month, but know it's dates are going to be off from my actual cycle as I've not been using it long enough to have a trend. My Wondfo's have shipped and should arrive before I go into my fertile window. What is the best way to track and document all my info? Should I test twice every day? So far, I've been logging symptoms on Ovia. I've also never used Wondfo, so I'm just looking for some guidance.

Wow you sound like me! This is my second cycle ttc. I also am suspecting i had a cp last cycle. I just got my order of wondfo ovulation and pregnancy test a few days ago. Im on cd 11 so i should be ovulating on CD 16 or 17. Ive heard great things about them, it is also my first time using them. I was using Answer brand. I bbt temp and use opks. If your regular and know when you ovulate start using your opks about 5 days before expected O. If you dont know test everyday until O. I test in the late afternoon and at night. Fmu is no good for opks. I track my data on a fertility friend app... and tape my test to a chart to monitor progression. I hope this helps ****baby dust****

I do not take my bbt because my sleep schedule is always different but I swear by Wondfos, they are some of the best OPKs that I have used. What I tend to do is starting after my period around CD 8 I take 1 OPK a day, generally in the afternoon as I have heard that's the best time to pick up a LH surge. When I see EWCM, I take 2 tests a day because for some women, their LH surge can be rather quick where as for others, they can get days of positive OPKs. I will take OPKs after I see EWCM until they are negative. In all, I usually as testing about 7 days and only 2-3 days testing twice. Since I have been at this so long, I don't use OPKs much anymore because I know exactly when I will ovulate and all the signs. But in the first 2 years of TTC, OPKs were a god send to help me understand my cycle!

Thanks, y'all! It's about pointless for me to try and track bbf, too, because of my 3 year old constantly waking me through the night. Plus, my allergies have decided to go crazy and I'm now sick as a dog, which not only keeps me up, but also has given me a slight rise in temp. That definitely makes me glad I've got the Wondfo's on the way. I just hope they arrive, soon. I'm on cd 7, now, but still spotting bright red for some reason. I'm assuming it may push back ovulation.
