Blood test results...
I had a blood test with fetal age analysis on 9/3 (which would have been 10 days post ovulation) and it came back negative (results of <2 ml). So I assumed I wasn't pregnant. I am now 2 days late on my period and wonder if I should try a home pregnancy test? Wouldn't the blood test be more accurate? The technician said that it was accurate up to 10 days before your next expected menus and I was 6-7 days pre-period.
I had some brief brown spotting Monday and very light pink spotting yesterday (it was very brief and more clear mucus than pink,) but nothing since. I am regular as a clock with my period and am never late.
Help? Opinions? I could easily take the home pregnancy test, but I don't want to be heartbroken...again... once you come to grips with the fact that you aren't pregnant, it's hard to even hope in "maybe."

Implantation may have not taken place! It could have been occurring that day or the next. I'm starting to suspect I had implantation happen yesterday at 11dpo cuz I always get af 14dpo and I had cramping and tan cm that stopped yesterday evening. There is a chart on this site that shows when implantation is most likely to take place. Nine dpo is most common but 10 and 11dpo are also " common". Some women do get pos hpts at 8dpo but most don't get them till later probably because implantation occurred later. If you're late I would definitely test. I'm afraid to test now but I'm not due till Friday and I figure I'll wait and see if af shows up. But you are already late. Maybe you had breakthrough bleeding yesterday.
