Question

is evening testing as accurate as fmu ?

Im only 8dpo but I have alot of hopeful symptoms and im dying to test. I was going to test with FMU this morning but I was still half asleep and went to pee before i realized i missed my chance! If i "hold it" for the afternoon and try a test tonight will it be accurate ? or would i be better off trying again tomorrow morning ? this wait is killing me.

Hi I'm also 8 days past ovulation your best bet is to use fmu as it stronger to pick up pregnancy hormone I end up testing to early so trying to hold off until af is closer. Gl hope u get ur positive :) x

ok i guess i'll hold off, as much as i want to do it now!!... i started having lower back pain around 4-5dpo... this is a big symptom for me,, i already have 4 kids and i got this with all of them... (then again its a symptom of PMS too) I get really bloated and gassy later in the day... my boobs are not as sore as some people say.. but they are more tingly and a bit of a burning sensation inside now and then.. I am SO tired by the time i put my kids to bed i just lay down and go to sleep with them and last night I had a very weird and detailed dream... the only thing that makes me doubt pregnancy is I only had sex 3 days before ovulation so I know my chances are lower. good luck to you!!!! inbox me if you want, i'd like to hear your symptoms too :)

The actual time of day for the urine is not what matters, its the hold and fluid intake. Fmu is supposed to be stronger becuz generally it is held longer without fluid intake, if u can do that another time during the day, its the same thing.

Dakota is right. As long as you hold your urine for several hrs (I read 4 hrs is ideal) & reduce your fluid intake, then what time of day you test is irrelevant. I've always tested late in the day, around 5pm, and gotten my bfps. However, I will warn you, that at 8 dpo, youre not likely to get a + no matter what time you test as it is very early. Try to hold off if you can. Gl!

Everyone's body is completely different. I have always gotten my BFP between 9dpo-11dpo six pregnancies and never ever with FMU my HCG levels are always stronger at night and once I got my BFP's I would always compare progression with my 10am urine as 1st and 2nd morning urine was terrible for me and I never had a hold the longer I held my urine the weaker my tests were. If I just went as normal my results were great. So you need to see what works best for you as I've said I've had 5 pregnancies in 12 months so I know this is how my body works.
Everyone says FMU FMU that's not the case for everyone.
