Pink cm and tugging on right side

Hi I'm currently on cd 24 but my periods are never ever regular so that doesn't mean a lot. Today I have woken up with pink discharge when I wipe and a tugging pain on my right side. I have had a look online and all I can find is that it could be due to ovulation or due to implantation. Is there anything else it could be? I took an ovulation test and that was negative and as far as I can tell from what I have read, the ovulation test would be positive if I was pregnant also? I have PCOS if that's of any relevance.
