achey pain in lower body

for about a week now i have had a slight sore lower back but this morning i woke up and i've had very dull achey hips, groin, legs, pelvis area and even in my ankles all day, i am possibly around ovulation time and just finished a mid cycle bleed today (all clear) that lasted about 5 days. has this happened to anyone before and what was the reason?
