Idk if this is helpful or not but I asked my fertility specialist about implantation bleeding. This is what he said: the internet has made women ttc believe that implantation bleeding is common. However, it is rare. Most women will never know when implantation actually occurs. Generally, it is between 8-10dpo. It should never be heavy like a period.

I did not put this in quotes as I am paraphrasing. So, personally, I 've stopped looking for signs of implantation or for implantation bleeding. Every time I start bleeding now I assume it is the dreaded AF and that has always been it. I avoid disappointment that way.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe it exists for some women.
