We did 3 ivf cycles 14 years ago and they all failed. We had plenty of embryos resulting but they either stopped growing in the lab or did not implant. We then did 2 GIFT cycles that also failed but were finally successful with ZIFT. All this after TTC for 13 years. This is just my story; there are plenty of people that conceive through ivf. It just didn't work for us. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Wow, that must of been a hard journey! My local clinic is offering 3 cycles for £ 10,000. You get £ 7,000 back if unsuccessful. I thought having 3 cycles, we would be pretty much guaranteed a baby!! Thank you for telling me your story, it has certainly given me something to think about. :)

I did 2 fresh IVF cycles & both failed. However, a good friend of mine did 1 fresh, then a few from frozen embryos left over from the fresh cycle and eded up with 2 children from that, then 2 more on her own afterwards! If you're going to do IVF, get your body/mind in the best shape possible, eat & sleep on a healthy schedule and come up with a back-up plan. Lean about your supplements ie ubiquinol, etc so in retrospect you'll know you did everything you could. I wish I had done that b/c many, many people are successful with IVF.
