Can progesterone save my pregnancy? Please help!

I am 4 days late for AF I had a blood pregnancy test done today and my number was 8 they like to see 10. I no sooner got home and started cramping slightly and spotting turned to heavy and brighter red...bleeding but not enough to be a pad, its only wen i wipe, they started me on progesterone today at 100 mg x 2 a day. I have to go back Thurs morning to test my numbers again. My question is what do you think my chances are of saving my preganacy? Please share your experiences...

My sister had 4 miscarriages due to low progesterone and since she started taking that when she got pregnant she has had 1 child and is 7 months pregnant with another, GL!
